In the first quarter of 2026, demand for apartments in Batumi, the largest Black Sea resort in Georgia, increased by 15.8% compared to the same period in 2025. The total number of apartments sold exceeded 4,000. These figures come from a study by the investment company Galt & Taggart.
Analysts note that high demand levels persisted throughout the first quarter of 2026, continuing the sales growth observed at the end of 2025.
The number of transactions on the primary market (from developers) rose by 21.1%, while on the secondary market (sales by individual owners) it increased by 10.1%.
The most popular location from January to March 2026 was New Boulevard, where 1,671 apartments were sold. The average price per square meter in this district was $1,787. Across the entire city, the average price per square meter reached $1,893, compared to $1,742 in the first quarter of 2025.
