About Gonio
Gonio is a resort village on the Black Sea coast, located south of Batumi, near the border with Turkey. It is known for its clear sea, pebble beaches, picturesque mountain landscapes and a more peaceful atmosphere compared to the central districts of Batumi.
The main attraction of the area is the ancient Gonio-Apsaros fortress, which recalls the rich history of this place. Gonio is actively developing: modern residential complexes, apartment hotels and resort infrastructure are appearing here. Due to the proximity to Batumi and the attractive location by the sea, the area is interesting both for recreation and permanent residence, as well as for real estate investments.
